Metro Transit Authority

The Hempstead Transit Center (HTC) is the bus system's indoor customer facility between Jackson and Columbia Streets in Hempstead, Long Island. Serving 20 of our 48 routes, the HTC is the major transfer point for customers using a second Long Island Bus route or the LLIR. Offering a waiting area, transit information, MetroCard vending machines, a newsstand and restrooms; the HTC was designed with the customer in mind.
DRM provided CADD/Drafting professional services. DRM services also assessing the rail related systems, such as Track, Catenary, Power Distribution, Signals and Communication systems, and mechanical and electrical interfaces with station facilities.
